I photograph your stories so you can relive the moment for the rest of your life.
I believe a photograph can tell more then a 1000 words can. I believe you should put your mask on before helping other. I believe that a wedding without tears is a bad sign (I’ve cried at every one). I believe there’s no misbehaved children at my sessions— we just gotta get on their level of thinking.

Getting a little vulnerable…
I feel on a deep level, which is how I tackle photography. It’s not about getting the perfect shot, it’s about getting the perfect reaction. I’m not the type of photographer that just shows up and takes your photos and leaves. I’m the photographer that shows up and immerses herself into your story.
5 years ago my dad died and the photo we used for his obituary was a photo a photographer had taken of him at a wedding. It was a photo that resembled him perfectly: a smile, his base ball cap, and holding a Miller Lite. That’s how I approach everything I photograph— how can I make these photos look like THEM?

The year it all started
I had just met my husband, gotten laid off from my coal mine job, and recently out of a bad relationship.
Currently unemployed, I bought a camera with what was left of my savings. I started taking photos on donations and posting to facebook marketplace.
First Photography Studio in downtown Sheridan, WY
I wanted to grow this business and make sure it was my full time thing. so I got my first photography studio!
Took a leap of faith
Moved to HAWAII!
My husband applied for a job on the island we got married on and they hired him. We took a leap of faith, sold everything in our life, and landed in Kona with 4 suitcases and dream.
COVID BROUGHT US HOME!
Since 2021 we have welcomed two more children and moved back home. The west is our home, just had to move away to yearn for it again.
